I finally got a date!

My sister and I had our initial consult with Dr. Baker last week, and we bought our HMR shakes for our 2 week pre-op diet. And we got our surgery dates. Mine is March 29th, and hers is April 12th.I had my labs and EKG done the day of the consult also. My sister has hers done on my surgery date, so it is going to work out good for us.
We plan on going to Little Rock on the night of the 28th, and renting a motel room because I have to report to the hospital at 5:30 am, and that is a three hour drive from home.
I am glad my sister is going to be with me on my day, I just wish I could be there for hers, but I will only be 2 weeks out, and that would be a little much since I am having Open RNY.
Dr. Baker put us both in a low calorie diet until time to start our pre-op liquid diets, no fried foods, fast foods, sweets, and no breads. Which is fine with us. The only thing is my sister is gonna have to give up her sweet tea, or find herself a sweetner she likes. But she can do it.
We are so excited!
