Eight days after surgery and I am feeling so great......it is a little scary....I had no problems in the hospital and I did not have to take any pain meds at all when I got home. I think the hardest part of this surgery is the mind hunger...it is a painful thing.......well I have lost a total of 30 pounds since May 14th and I feel awesome.....I actually had some cottage cheese this morning with fresh tomatoe and balsamic vinegar.....I thought I died and went straight to heaven......thank you all for your prayers.....loving life!!!!

Hi Everyone,

Today is the big day! I have to say that out of my two week liquid fast that I hated the bowel prep the worst! Other than that I am ready and I am excited and I could not have asked for a better roommate than Renee. It is funny how life can bring two people together. I met her on this website and then I find out she is having surgery with my doctor and then I find out it is the same day! We are roommates.....does not get any better than that and she has a positive attitude just like myself....she is a beautiful soul and I am very lucky! 

I have an awesome sister Jennifer who has been my rock and my support as well and I just love her so much.....

Okay day ten,,,,,,,I have lost ten pounds.....yipeee just five to go to get to my 200 pounds....I am so excited, and I have dropped two pant sizes..

My daughter's softball team set a new school record last night for the most wins in school history for a single season, so that was too cool and the last two games were very very nerve racking! They now move on to District's and I am just praying that they are doing this before I have surgery....

Five days left until my sugery and I am getting so excited and my nerves are taking me to a new level.....the good news is that all of my blood work came back excellent so that is very exciting...

Well it is sunny and it is Sunday....I am so geeked..I stepped on the scale and I have lost eight pounds since my liquid fast began and my sugery friend who is my roomie ....she lost the same amount of weight.....it is amazing....life is good and only 11 more days.....I am off to go golfing with my son and then I get my grandson for the night........yesssss

I forgot to tell ya'll that I made reservations for my yearly trip to Maui and this time I will be staying for a month......and this time I will be thin and I won't have to worry about the airplane seat or my swim suit!!!!! I can't wait!!!! For all of you OH who live in Maui.....lets meet and have our own OH forum and celebrate each other success's.....

Well day four of this liquid fast and things are going really well....I am currently working on the other side of the state and I my daughter is playing softball....they are number one in their district and playing very well...this week I have fifteen hours of drive time and six games that I have attended and they won all six games......yeahhhhhhh (oh I forgot $150.00 for the gas)  and my daughter rocks...she is just like her mommy (LOL) The only complaint that I have since this fast is when I am driving back from the games 2.5 hours...the country roads are my friends because I have to stop and pee so much it is ridiculous....I know ya'll just had to know this....I just added a pic of my daughter Amanda playing ball...well I only 11 days left and I will be having surgery with my friend rjwierda with whom I met on this website and ironically as God would have it we are roomies the day of our surgery...she is awesome and I am a much better person for have met her!!!!! Okay so it is the second day of my liquid fast....yipeeeee I am lovin it...lol ..I am actually doing really well...I do feel a little light headed at times and my stomach is a growling away...other than that I am doing great.....

I had my nutrition class and learned a lot for sure......I start my liquid diet this next Wednesday for two weeks..and then surgery....I actually met a lady on this web site and come to find out she will be my roommate in the hospital and she and I have the same surgery date........funny how things work out....I am feeling nervous and excited....pray for me to get through these next two weeks.....PLEASE......I appreciate all of you and your help......I love this website...it is truly a blessing........God Bless....Jill

I am feeling anxious today for some reason..it is making me crazy...I am so excited about my surgery date being scheduled and at the same time I am nervous...this decision between choosing the RNY and the sleeve really has me going....I see the benefits of the sleeve and yet since there are not too many stats it makes me wonder....I guess I just don't want to make the wrong choice and then have to have a revision....
