My health plan changed how much they cover for barriatric surgery.  I would be responsible for 50% of the bills.  Cannot afford it so will have to lose weight on my own. 

Lost another 3 lbs.  Feel great.  Total of 15.4 lbs.  Mid-way through pre-surgery dieting.

I lost 7.6 lbs during the month of November.  Now gotta get thru Christmas

I ate too much today ... not sure why I did it.  Gotta work on it .... if I can't control it now, am I gonna be able to control it after surgery?  Some days I can do soooo good.  Other days, it's like nothing matters & I'll ending eating bad foods, as well as, too much food.  Gotta find something else to do.

My husband & I both decided to have the gastric bypass done.  We had our first consultation back on Oct 5.  I considered this as a birthday gift to myself.  My birthday was on Oct 6.  I am very excited about this decision.  I am ready to start our journey to a better life style.  We both have high blood pressure and joint pain.  I have high cholesterol and the have been getting high blood sugar readings but have not been diagnosed with diabetes.  My energy level is low.  I am looking forward to turning my life around.  I want to be healthier.  I want to be able to enjoy my grandchildren ... right now we have 2 (1 boy & 1 girl).

Our family is there to support us even though I feel not all are sure that we know what we are doing.  We feel that going through this together, we can help each other better since we will then both be eating the same.   I want to be able to spend a long happy lifestyle with my husband.  He is my true mate ... I am so glad that I met him & got married.
