Well..... I am 25 years old. I have been overweight my whole life. I currently weigh 291lbs & 5-3 so that puts my BMI at 51.5 according to this booklet I am Super Obese. WoW, I never would have thought I would get this big. I am very excited about this surgery and I have dreamed of it since I was 17 or 18 years old, I guess that has given me plenty of time to do research. I dont want anyone to think im not scared because I am, I just have to do what is best for my health and my kids who are 10, 6, and 2.
Some small reasons I'm doing this:
I want to live a long healthy life & watch my kids grow up and have children of their own. (im always sick and in pain) I would love to be a normal mom before my youngest child learns to call me fat like my other 2 brats have. (she's still to young to know the difference) I would love to go to six-flags and not worry which rides I can ride on! ( stopped going: its just not worth the tears! ) I would love to go shopping for nice clothes & bra's in a normal store. ( it seems that the bigger you get the worse the clothes look.) And most of all... I want my husband to look at me like he did b.c (before children) last of all...to fit in these Bronco's seats without bumping arms! (its not comfy!)
like I said; These are very small reasons. If I put down all the reasons why I am doing this you would be reading a book right now.
