Hi Shannon! Welcome to the OH Message Board of Hawaii!!! I'm so glad to see more Hawaii people registering and posting. It just makes it more fun and interesting. It's amazing the awesome people that you meet on this web. I wish you all the best of luck in your journey with WLS!!! I had lap rny with Dr Paul Cirangle on January 10, 2005, and just had a TT on March 6, 2006. My BMI also started out at 5l. I'm only 5 feet tall and weighed 261 pounds the day of my surgery. I now weigh 130, and would like to lose another 5-10 pounds. But I'm not stressing over it. My main reason was due to health problems, and those have all gone away.
