Karen, My wishes for an uneventful surgery and a quick recovery. I am also scheduled for surgery (on the 30th) and I am sure we have both experienced our share of emotions for the past month. I also live in Bloomington - if you ever have need of a walking partner please let me know. I have never enjoyed walking (I like speedier things like biking) but am resigned to daily walks after surgery and through the winter until spring. Again, all my best wishes!

I just thought I would drop by to say that I wish you well on your upcoming surgery. You will do fine! I am about 3 weeks post-op and have lost over 30 pounds! Keep your sights focused on what you are doing this for and the beautiful, healthier, thinner you you will become in a short time! If you have any questions, don't hesitate to ask me or anyone else. We are all here to cheer you on and help you. It is not an easy journey, but with support, it makes it easier to handle! Take care and may God bless you and let you have a swift, pain-free recovery!

Good luck on your coming surgery. My prayers are with you, and hoping for an uneventful surgery, and a speedy, painfree recovery. Keep your focus on healing. Make sure you walk, and keep up your breathing exercise. YOU CAN DO THIS! See you on the other side.

Karen, Enjoy this your last weekend before surgery! I share this time with you as my surgery is this week too! :-) I will be sharing your time with you as you do those last details to prepare. I'm so excited for us both! Best wishes for a successful and uncomplicated surgery! Know that I will be mentally walking laps with you. :-) Big hugs, Sharon
