2 more months and counting

I am almost finished with my 6  months of required counseling prior to surgery approval.  I was really irritated at the requirement when I started, but now I am actually glad I did it.  I cant really say I learned much, but it has really given me the time to deal with the reality of the long awaited surgery.   I have spent many hours speaking to people who have had the surgery as well as on sites like this one. ( I like this site best, though)  :-D    I have tried to prepare my family as well as my work family about the surgery.   I am so ready to get started on this journey.  I am very grateful to have found a site like this one as well as my friends to hlep me on my way.
