Update 7 years

Aug 25, 2014

I am doing ok what I don't get is after 7 year and losing more than 220 lbs. I am having heart issues and have been diagnosed with Osteoarthritis Other that I have maintain my weight. I range from 177-97 where my body seems to like about 183 I finally had panniculectomy they took the excess apron skin. I have a terrible problem with gas and the culprit is veggies. I would do it again in a heartbeat and would not change a  thing.  The side effects of my panni removal was I ended up with an infection with a scare down the middle and having a vac machine for recovery. Being 7 years out I still have issue with food and body image. I would love to have my breasts, thighs and a real tummy tuck. I updated with a new pic.

It's been 2 years since my last post. I am now at  168 my body seems to be happy at this weight.  I am now wanting plastic surgery for my tummy buts it's 7500 and I would have to have the money in 6 months and that is not possible. With the military it's another 6 months wait list. Sugars and fried foods are my enemies so I stay away from them. Doing pretty good and would do it again.

Wow all I can say 3 years

Aug 23, 2010

I am three years out and when I was here almost a 1 1/2 ago I was pregnant. He is now almost 13mths old. I was 204 at the time I am now 234. I am still fighting those last 30lbs to get off. I would do it all over again. I have a consult for September to try and get some of the excess skin off. Especially my belly thats hangs awful. I am pround of myself for maintaining my 120lbs weight loss even after having a baby. Congrats on where you have came from and where you are at. I would stil go back in a heartbeat and do it all over again.

Apr 30, 2009

Wow it has been 8 months since i updated. Well I have been great my lowest weight was 179lbs. We found out on xmas yo our surprise we were expecting. i am able to eat almos anything but in moderation and still have to have small meals. To my amazement I am able to drink out of straws with no problems. I still walk. This has been my best pregnancy weight wise since my 2nd pregnancy my 1st I was my smallest at 140ish pounds. This pregnancy is  no expection diffrent than my others in two aspects I had awful morning sickness the 1st three months am more tried that could be attirbuted to this being my 8th pregnancy 6th viable pregnacy. I am now 204 lbs as of today. I am able to still wear most of my prepregnancy shirts and an xl maternity jean that is loose. I was never able to wear maternity clothes before. We are expecting another boy our 6th. he was very unexpected but we are getting excited. My excess skin is on my  stomach and my thighs. This is still one of the best things I could have and would do it over again. Congrats on all you have traveled this great journey and who are just starting.

a year later wow

Aug 26, 2008

I t has been a year and with all of its ups and downs with this surgery. I have had dumping syndrome but that is good because it tells me it is a no no food. I started this journey at 322 and am down to 184 lbs. My measurements on July 2007 were bra 48 DD, waist 54 and hips 58. I am now a 40,40,48. I relish the little things in life being able to walk up stairs , being able to cross my legs, being able to run after my children. I had to buy some news bras and it was crazy I  had to settle on a 40C because I could not find a 40B. Today my hubby brought me some jammies and said you can fit into a medium I was like no way he brought them any way and I was like what the h#LL this is crazy.  Shopping is very fun because I can shop off the clearance rack and half the time I buy the wrong size and half to return it for a smaller size. Crazy right. I take my viatmins and do everything I am told.  I  have my one year on the  Sept 9th and will talk to her about plastics and go from there. My advice is someone will always try and talk you out of this surgery but there will also be someone to say go for it that was my mom who had the surgery and had awful results  from the surgery. My husband was in my corner also. This is one of the best decsions of my life and I welcome all to the losers bench.

Just a few thoughts

Feb 25, 2008

I was watching Oprah today and Valerie Bertinili was on and talking about her new book. She was like I was 40 lbs over weight as we all know wow we wish we were that much. Just my thoughts are I have noticed how I looked and how people took take a notice or even a second glance at the weight i have lost.  I can remeber  before people did not even take a notice. So my question to all f you have you notice how people  have taken a second notice. Just my thoughts

I tried on a skirt that I thought would fit it feel off. I had a  friend  give me some size 18 jeans I said no way I can wear these guess what I can wear theses with ease. God when was I  in a size 18 I dont even remember weight loss is wonderful. I am now down to 220 I have lost 100+ pounds since surgery. My goal is 160 and I can see it.
