 I just had revision from band to sleeve.  The band was awful. I was always stuck or throwing up and unable to eat healthy things like chicken and veggies without getting stuck.  Anything bad for me would not get stuck. Tis makes no sense to me.

I decided to go for it with the sleeve and had the procedure done this week.  I'm very excited and am confident it will work this time.

I started pureed food today and LOVE cottage cheese and applesauce.  And peas never tasted so good. :)  I'm still trying to get all the protein drinks in because I don't want my hair to thin any more than it already has.  I am having a hard time getting the water in.  I'm getting sick of artificial sweetener taste.  I've been off them for so long now, and have only added them to my diet because I wanted sf jello and sf gum.  That's the only time I have them, but after a while I still taste the flavor.

I have the worst taste in my mouth at all times.  Especially over the past three days.  I wake up in the middle of the night to brush my teeth because the taste is so horrendous!!!  Hope this goes away soon.

I made it to the Loser's bench after 5+ years trying to join the team.  I am three days out and feeling really good.  I'm healing fast and am very happy with my decision.  I have made so many great friends on OH and would be lost without this board.  There are so many wonderful people going through the exact thing I am.  I love sharing with and learning about my OH Friends.  Thank you for being here!

I'm supposed to have Lap Band surgery on April 21st and had my final pre-op appointment today to review my test results.  I have a hiatal hernia in my esophagus, so he'll stitch that up during surgery; but he also said that my white count is too high and asked if I have an infection.  I just got over an ear infection and finished antibiotics 5 days ago, but he gave me 5 more days worth of antibiotics.  He said if my white count doesn't go down he'll have to cancel surgery, so I'm crossing everything right now!!!!

Hopefully, everything will go as planned and I'll be a Bandit on Tuesday.
