2 week post op visit

Hey I had my 2 week post op visit on Monday and the doc was pleased. I was down 15 pounds, so that is awesome. I have added some foods into my diet and seem to be progressing quite well. I got the all clear to start swimming, so I am going to get into a suit and get back in the pool. Horrible thought, but I want to swim my way to a healthier me. Made it back to the gym last night and it went pretty well. So I am excited to be back there am looking forward to my 6 week visit and to be a little further down on the losers bench!

Hey, it has been a bit since I updated. I had my surgery last Monday May 5th and things are going great. I am back to work and have not had any problems with the full liquids. Tomorrow I figure I will be 10 days out and be able to add some food into my diet. I have had a piece of cheese and did fine with that. It just takes me a bit to eat it, as opposed to the two bite slice before, I really do eat a slice over 10 minutes. I am so excited about peanut butter and cottage chesse. Really I am almost orgasmic to be able to finally eat a few of my favorite foods.
I did step on the scale the day I came home from the hospital and again the next morning. Stupid scale is lying to me. I have not stepped on it since, I think it is broken! I do not recommend stepping on the scale. I will see where I am at next Monday at my 2 week check up and post it then.
So this is where I am. The hospital was uneventful. My nurses and the whole staffwere incredible. I could not have asked for better care from any of them.

Well, I have been lurking around for a few months now and really just gathering information, which has been quite helpful. I did not know a lot of the questions I needed answers to, so reading everyones posts helped.
Thursday I called to find out what was going on. Within a half an hour I had received a call back and we scheduled everything from this point to the surgery.
I am sceduled for May 5, Cinco De Mayo, it will always be a very special day now. And I am so pumped that this is actually happening. 44 days and counting! WOOHOO!!!!!
