Hello all, today makes 5 weeks out and I am doing pretty good. I need to get disciplined and make sure I am getting my liquids and vitamins in. Other than that, the weight lose is doing good and my energy level is the highest it as been in a long time. Does anyone out there bother counting calories? I am not eating that much but I am not sure if I am consuming enough calories?

Today makes two weeks out and I am feeling really good. I almost feel like nothing even happened. So far I have lost 40 Ibs, and I cant see it but i can definetly feel it. Started going to the gym and walking 2-3 miles three times a week

That is a wow moment right out of the gate for me to even say that I am post op. It seems like it has been a long time coming. I am very greatful for the support of my many friends here on this site. I also give God all of the glory and the praise for my surgery being successful.
Things are going well I am getting use to the whole drinking thing and doing my breathing exerises. I feel really good but I tend to get winded quickly. I have been pushing myself to walk and try and stay moving.
I am excited to be on the road to recovery because as many of you will agree obesity is an addiction or condition of some sort. So I am thankful to be equiped with the tools to better manage it.

Well good people, I have less than a week to go before surgery and I can't wait. It is so encouraging to here all of you that share your success stories and trials.

Well, it is getting closer and closer. my mind is racing with thoughts which I am sure is normal. I am very anxious but yet nervous all at the same time. I am trusting God to do for me what he has done so many times before. Which is show up and restore.

Well, my date is quickly approaching (Oct 30th). I am excited and nervous all at the same time. I am ready to get started on my journey of weight loss. It will be good to finally have the tools to be successful at lossing weight after a life long struggle to do so. Please keep me in your prayers and I will do the same for you.

Well, my story is so much like everyone elses on this site. I felt like I had to draw a line in the sand with my weight. I have battled obesity my whole life and see sawed up and down along the road. I have had a lot of success with losing weight and ZERO success keeping any of it off.
As far as my insurance goes, they absolutely do not cover any type of wieght loss surgery. So I have been doing my research and background checks on different affordable Doctors. Thank God I have found a surgeon that I have built some confidence in and can afford there service. I would just like to say thank you to all of you that take the time to post your stories, trials, failures, and successes on here. It is truely a blessing to have so many people that are tangible that have been there and done that, or either trying to get there. My date is set for November 13. Please pray for me and I will do the same for you.
