kim,so glad to hear you are post op.just take this slow and steady-the time goes by so quickly.i can't believe its been 4 weeks for me already.now on soft protein foods.down 30 lbs so far!keep in touch.many friends here to support you!your buddy,cathy

Kim, You are an inspiration! I live in Portland Maine and am just putting my toe in the water to see if I can have the Lap Band done. I will be following progress so please keep us posted - how it's REally going?! GodSpeed to You My Friend You are Beautiful...Go Girl!

Hey Kim, "Fellow January Sister"! Just stopped by to say Congratulations on your upcoming surgery. Saw in your profile that your surgeon's office postponed it from an earlier date. Sorry you're having to wait just a bit longer. Just try to stay positive and know that it all will work out. Looks like you are scheduled for surgery on the 3rd, which is my 'Big Day' too. Know that you have to be going thru a million different emotions, as I am about all of this. It's just so exciting to think "A New Year/New Us"!!! Will keep you in my thoughts and prayers for an uneventful surgery & the speediest of recoveries. May you feel God's peace & love surround you during this time. *******CONGRATULATIONS ON YOUR UPCOMING SURGERY. ******* ~~~~~"Everything in our lives happens for a purpose and that purpose is to prepare us~~~~~~~~~~~ May God give you courage, strength and guidance throughout your new journey. Your big day is almost here, this is the day, your new life will begin, I cant promise it will be easy, cant say it will be hard, I can say that with all the complications and everything I had to go through, It was well worth it. I have never felt better in yearsss, I’m off all medications, have sooooo much more energy. So if you hit a bump in the road, hang in there and remember it will alll be worth it in the long run. Sending Prayers your way that the Lord will guide your surgeon’s hands. May the guardian angels wrap their loving arms of protection around you during your surgery and recovery .
