Physical setbacks

I injured my back last week due to overuse. I have a bad back anyways.I am getting better - less pain and stifness these days.
I started running and I know doing something new takes time for my body to adjust. Right now I am not going to run anymore and start with low impact workouts (spin, power walk, weight training).
I'm lucky because I have a great physical therapist and friends who are helping me to get back into exercising again.
Anyone else have physical aches/pains and are trying to get back into exercising?
