Two weeks till sleeve surgery!

I am two weeks away from my sleeve surgery on Aug 3rd. I was wondering if anyone has any words of wisdom, or something that they wish that they had known going in?

I had lap band surgury in 2008, and it was nothing but trouble from the beginning. I had to stay extra time in the hospital because I was having trouble even with liquids. Everything got stuck and it was a constant problem. I eventually had it out about three years ago. With the band I didn't lose much at all. Now I am back to where I started trying to decide if I want to go through the process again. This time I am looking into the sleeve. I wanted to see if anyone has had the same issue and had the sleeve. I am worried that if I go through this again and a bigger surgery this time that I could go through something similar. Please let me know what your thoughts are.

Insurance Approval!

I got insurance approval today!!!!
I have an appointment in two weeks with my doctor, and I am going to set a date!!!! Yea!
It is looking like the week after Christmas if everything goes as planned!!

I am also nervous about the whole thing. However, I am so tired of being fat!

On the other hand I feel like I just haven't tried hard enough and that this is a cop out. I am considered obese, but aparently not enough to qualify for the insurance to cover it. You have to love being fat, but not quite fat enough. There is a lot that I would like to find out about the options, and I would also like to talk to more people about their experinces.
