LONG OVER DUE UPDATE!

Ok so I forgot the pin to my weight loss ticker...I am now at 140 pounds. I really don't want to lose but maybe 10 more pounds, cause once I have my tummy tuck, I will be small enough....I wear a size 7-8 and some 5-6's. I have done really well with this surgery. I have been having a few problems the last couple months and I just found out I have to have my gall bladder removed. I am so ready to get this done and over with:) then the tummy tuck will be done...YAY.....I hope all is well with everyone else. Yall take care until next time:)

I am sorry it's been so long since I have posted. I am hardly ever on here anymore. My life has changed so much and in so many ways. It would take me all day to post what all has changed, so I will just say it this way EVERYTHING about my life has changed completely. I have lost 160 pounds and feel wonderful. I have not met my goal weight yet but I am determined to get there. I do have new pictures and will post them asap. I hope everyone is doing great. May God bless you all.

I am sorry it has taken me so long to update but the storm came and I am still without cable and internet. I am exactly 24 days out and 34 pounds down...YAY I never dreamed it would happen so fast. I am doing great other than a few gas pains occasionally. It is really hard to get in all the fluids they are wanting me to drink but I am trying my hardest. My protein is another big thing I do drink my shakes and eat a few things here and there but not getting in 80 grams a day I know.:( Thanks from all of you that have been so supportive in my journey thus far and for all the prayers I received.
My life is about to begin!

I had my surgery on Monday the 25th. I was only in surgery about an hour thank god. The Dr. said I done great with everything. I had alot of gas pain after the surgery which was to be expected. I am doing good other than that. It is so amazing how you can only eat a tiny bit and feel so full. I am really sick of liquids and ready to move on to phase 2. I have little patience..lol...I know I will have to find some in the months ahead of me for sure:) Thanks to everyone for your prayers and words of encouragement. I would also like to say a special thank you to a friend I met in the process of having the surgery. Jennifer and I met the day we went for the consultation with Dr. Hargroder and just instantly hit it off. We begin to text, call and email each other often. She has really been a blessing to me.. She came to the hospital to see me after surgery and brought me a beautiful flower arrangement. She is so sweet. Thanks for everything girl.. GOD is GREAT I still have trouble believing that I am actually having the surgery. I am so excited! Life is so awesome just knowing that I am going to have this major life change is incredible. I have waited so long for this to happen. Thank you all for your prayers and comments. I can't wait to be on the losers bench and begin my new life.

I had my consultation visit with Dr. Andrew Hardgroder today. I was very pleased with him as well as the staff in the office. They were all wonderful. I am waiting to hear from the bariatric coordinator at the hospital so I can set up my pre op test. Once I have the test done I see the Dr. to get clearance for surgery. OMG I can't believe I am about to have a new life.....beginning on August 25th. Thank you Jesus for answering my prayers. I will be on the losers bench soon. Please keep me and my family in your prayers.
