Karen was hard to reach! BUT her precious mother emailed me and let me know she is doing well. She went throught surgery just fine. She is having some pain from her drain tube. But that the pain meds are helping nicely. Please keep her in your prayers. She has made is to the thinner side...Good Luck, Girl!!!!!

To My Special Angel, I am so proud of you for deciding to have this surgery. You deserve to have a wonderful life with your family. Be a little selfish the next few weeks and think of yourself first. We will all be there to help. I promise not to lose any of the kids. I'll see you bright and early tomorrow morning 5am to go to the hospital with you. I love you. Mom
