Just A Fast Update...

Before I go back to bed!    lol  My surgery was yesterday and it went well.    I was able to go home the same day.  It was nice to be able to sleep in my own bed!  My surgery lasted a bit longer than expected because when Dr. Haley got in there, he found a hiatal hernia that had to be repaired before he could place the band.  Nobody was expecting that!  So I was on the table for about 2 hours.  I find that as I get older, and with each surgery that I have, that it gets harder to tolerate the anesthesia.  There were no problems, it just gets more difficult to bounce back.

I want to thank everyone for their thoughts, prayers, and notes of encouragement.  I feel so blessed to be a part of this site and to be meeting all of you wonderful friends to go on this journey with!!!  Together we can all be extremely successful!!!
