Hello everyone. I had my surgery on 7-30-2002 and have gone from 378 lbs down to 192 as of this morning exactly 1 year from my surgery date i feel great except fornot getting enough protein. i've been able to play softball again for first time in 10 yrs. My son wants to play catch too. Bfore he would feel sorry for me that i would die. It's a whole new life for me at age 50. Good luck to everyone who has had or is going to have The surgery. Hey Joe, how are you after your surgery. Hope you are feeling better. I had my surgery the same day as you, in Belvidere. Is that where you had yours, I see you had Dr. Boe. My was Dr. Berkowitz. Could have seen each other in the halls walking. Well the best to you and I hope your recovery goes fast and well. My best to you!!!
