Hi, my name is Cindy and I 30 years old. I am a stay at home mom and take care of my two year old nephew. I have an 8 year old beautiful daughter and a wonderful husband of 9 years. I have been overweight for as long as I can remember. I remember being the one in middle school having all the problems, being made fun of, trying to fit in with all the skinny girls. I have tried all types of diets, weight watchers (several times), LA Weight Loss and several pills. None have lasted and all the weight plus has come back. This surgery is something I have been researching but had so many people tell me you can't do that there are so many complications. That all changed when I met Dr. Ahmad, he is a wonderful doctor and surgeon. My surgery is scheduled for January 24, 2007 and I am both excited and nervous. The best part of the whole process is that my mom is also having the surgery, hopefully a week after I do and she is my best friend. We are all the support we need for each other. I look forward to also being on the loser's bench.
