43 yr old Single adoptive mom of two gorgeous girls from Guatemala. Have struggled with a lifelong weight issue and honestly had "given up" after trying to get approved for WLS for YEARS. Thankfully I ran into a girl in a store while on vacation that I recognized from the year previously and she looked FABULOUS. I told her she looked great and asked her secret. She'd had the Gastric Bypass. While talking she told me she had the same insurance that I had, and that there'd been a change to the plan.
Once back from vacation I made that my first call and found out she was correct. I had WLS on January 4th 2010 and so far so good. Looking forward to the journey to better health and a better/longer quality of life for myself and my kids !
