LIke a lot of people, I have been overweight since puberty. My husband and I have been unable to conceive
a child and OF COURSE - my weight has been a big contributor to my lack of fertility.
I have wanted to have the surgery for the last seven years, but was not heavy enough. In addition, my husband
and I moved multiple times - so our insurance kept changing!
When we moved home in April of 2004, I began my WLS journey again! Finally, I found a Barix Clinic
in central Ohio and felt welcome. I was very comfortable with the staff and surgeons and felt that
I was making the right decision.
My hope is to become healthy, have children, and share my experience with others!
I feel very blessed to have the opportunity to change my life.
