I was banded on 02/21/07 and I am doing very very good.  I have lost 32 pounds but seem to be on a plateau right now, I think it is because I am starting to eat regular food. Dr Wetherille was wonderful.  I lost 16 pound on my  10 day Pre liquid diet and then another 14 pound and then another 2 pounds last week. I love my band although I have not had a fill yet, I will have to let you know how that goes.

I finally have a date.  It is set for February 21st at 7:00 AM- I could of had it a week sooner on Valentines day (what I nice present to myself) but someone else at work has that week off and we can only have one person off at a time in my department.  So the 21st it is. I am so excited.

Yeah!!! I got a call from my Jennifer at Park Nic to tell me that I have been approved.. I work for the insurance company and they PN knew  before I did. Go figure.. I am soooo excited.. I have my apt with nurse Carol and then with Dr Wetherille on Thursday Jan 25th.  I can't wait.  I was so excited when I got the call, but now reality is hitting me.  I am nervous and scared all at the same time so many mixed emotions, thinking is this something I could have done on my own?? No of course not because if it was then I wouldn't be the size that I am now.  I know that this is definately something that I want and need but just to know that I have been approved is like knowing that  I don't have to wait for the permission anymore and it is now going to happen.  YEAH!!!
