second chance - revision

I think everyone deserves a second chance. For me it's getting the revision surgery from the band to the bypass and living a healthy life. I was banded 4 years ago and only down 35 lbs cause I kept losing and gaining. I started the evaluation for the bypass surgery last week hoping they approve me! I was embarrassed at first to even mention it since I felt like I failed with the band. nobody likes to fail at anything personally I don't think the band is enough for someone who has a problem with food. I think it's very easy to eat around it and gain weight. I need a no going back clause which the band didn't provide. it's been 4 years since the band and I'm much more educated  about the surgeries and what I have to do. I will keep you all updated on what's going on and any help from anyone who had the revision or bypass would be appreciated !
