August 14th, 2005...I return to work tomorrow after 3 months of recovery from open RNY on May 16th. I have lost a total of 72 pounds and I feel absolutely wonderful. My tastes have changed, I don't feel hungry and out-of-control all the time, and I am struggling to get my protein in. My hair has begun to fall out. But I continue on and know that I have a goal to reach. I have already reached one...to feel better and that I do.
