The countdown

Well, its Sunday morning and I am so very calm still about my surgery date being this week. My family (my help) seems to be in more of a tizzy than what I am in. For me the challenge was so great getting here that I think subconsciously I can't allow myself to take it in until I am actually there Thursday morning. I hope my feelings don't all start to rush in then. But I am very thankful to God that I am giving this chance to get to a healthier me with this tool that I will have. Today I will eat even lighter than what I have been doing to prepare myself for my fast that begins tomorrow. I am to report to Crawford Long Hospital two hours prior to my surgery time.

I had a hickup late last week with an infection from a bad wisdom tooth. I was unable to get the tooth pulled but I have done a week 1/2 of antibiotics and all is well now. The only challenges I am having in with my sinus and that isn't something I can't handle.  I am calm, assured, and ready. I'll check back Wednesday nite to see if I am still feeling the same way, then after the surgery once I have returned home.
