 It's now been a month, and I'm down about 20 lbs.  I can see the difference in some of my clothes and people are saying they can see a difference in my appearance.  It's a good feeling.  

While everything is going well "medically", I have noticed a slight difference in my relationships (friendships, I guess).  I know that some of it is me - changing emotions, changing physiology - and perhaps I am hyper-sensitive.  My friends are supportive, but there seems to be a distance growing with some of them.  I guess it's early and I'll just have to see how that plays out.

Hello.  I was working on a little webpage to chronicle this journey, but I need to re-subscribe to the service that allows me to update. In the future, I hope to revisit this process.
