Presbyterian Hospital of Plano

"The hospital, like most hospitals, was short staffed and therefore the nurses were sometimes a bit slow getting to you. I kept pushing the morphine button and my husband told them it wasn't working for me. It took my husband to discover the pump was not working. This happened twice and if my husband hadn't been there the nurses would not have done anything to help me. Most of the staff were wonderful and made up for the few who were not at all nice."

Frank Veninga

"<p><b>March 16, 2001</b><p> I met Dr. Veninga for the first time yesterday. My appointment was for 1:30 but Dr. Veninga had been called away for emergency surgery and I was asked to return at 3pm. When I returned Dr. Veninga was not back yet. I finally got to see him at about 4:15. He was very apologetic, a rarity for a doctor, in my experience. I liked him immediately. Even though he was running behind and had several patients to see, he took time to go over the procedure thoroughly and to answer all my questions. His office staff was also very nice. I'm looking forward to the procedure with such a nice doctor."
