I have been researching this for several years and have finally decided I've waited long enough.  I met with my surgeon yesterday to get the ball rolling.

I have decided to have the RNY done.  For me, I felt I would experience more permanent results than the Lap Band. 

I'm also looking for a support group in Pflugerville.  Can anyone tell me if there is a current group meeting?

Any advise or tidbits would be much appreciated.
