I was born chubby and remained chubby all during school. There was a few years where I lost a lot of weight and it took awhile but I gained it back. I keep going back to WW and loosing 20 pounds and dropping out. Then gaining 30-40 back. I'm a mess. I need this surgery. Now that I've decided that, I don't know why I haven't done it before. I know a few people who have had surgery and are doing well. I am going through my insurance requirements right now. Has anyone used Dr. Paul Macik? He is a PPO for my insurance and uses Northside Hospital and I like that Hospital. I had a surgery about 11 years ago which they had to remove some of my lower intestants. Dr. M doesn't know if I will have enough to do the RNY until he goes in there. He said he may have to do the sleeve. Anybody out there that had the gast. sleeve surgery?
