"After the first night they were not that good... the IV would buzz for a long time, no one wanted to unhook me to go to the B/R and it was not a cheery room It was dark and drab I could not see outside! The nurses station was far away and I appeared to be the forgotten patient. Not A Center of Excellence in my book. My surgeon was wonderful as was his staff!! I had to wait for everything one x-rayI had, I waited 1 hour in the Radiology dept slumped over in my wheelchair til finally a tech ask me if I would like to lie down. On discharge to go home they forgot about me and I waited 2 hours for transport. I went to the nurses station and they were suprised they thought I had left hours ago. I just walked myself down to the valet parking where my sister had been waiting over an hour in her hot car: they told her to sit still they were getting me! Duh?? It seems better communication is in order!!"
"I liked the way he explained the surgery ! Everything was explained so we understood! I truly believe this surgeon is my best choice! He took a lot of time and kept asking \"anything else\"? He is caring and I feel like I am in good hands!rnThe clinic was another story, it was wild with 7 surgeons.... I seemed to wait forever because someone needed an IV started then someone needed a few stitches, but the WL clinic with Meredith, and Becky and Lisa were right on schedule! rnI have waited this long so a few more hours really didn't matter! Afterwards my husband and I had lunch and I was floating on cloud 9!!!!rnLynnrnDr Cook is the most compassionate surgeon and I would reccomend him to everyone!"
