Well time for my personal thoughts!

Good morning everyone, it has been so incredible this past week, no one could ever understand unless you have been there that is for sure. No one prepared me for the emotional, well to a point but until you go through it, you could not possibly understand. Now something you need to understand I am not as eligant in writing as alot of people on here are so , sorry for that. Deliska my friend does a wonderful, amazing job at expresing herself. I can only try...hahahaWell if your thinking about this surgery, it is a commitment you must be prepared to make and understand that every single person is so different. As many people and experinces I had heard about , no one compared exactly like me, WE ARE ALL SO DIFFERENT. Now saying that I am not sure if others were protecting me, or truly had the experince they had. ( I have heard both now)
Today is Day 6 Post-op...First day I woke up feeling ok , this is a fabulous day. I still have a somewhat sore belly and I dont have the energy I had before surgery but that is all expected, and it will come.
The protein is good , not sure why it took be 6 days to build up to where I should have been at day 3 but I did it. to me that is what matters even if it takes me longer to accomplish what I should. I will do it!
I was confused in first few days, well overwhelmed is the word, I did not think I was drinking enough, but then I reread my papers and it said build up to, I was trying to do what it says to build up to in the next 2 weeks...Silly me, reading to fast. Now every morning in my morning routine , I sit and take my pills with my protein and I read all my papers again , looking forward to mashed potatoes, cottage cheese, and applesause..I will forgo the Oatmeal as it has never been something I enjoy.
Now something I wonder, some people take 1 mulit-vit in am and 1 in pm, I thought the same, but I asked nutrionist and she told me take at same time, same as tummy pills, so I do. I think I will call again to clarify see what they tell me...lol...
One important note ..it is so important to have someone to communicate with through this experince, the support is crucial .
Wow I gotta tell ya, as i was writing this , I had a message pop up from an old freind i had not heard from in 2 years, he had just went through heart transplant,sure made me think, Incredible how god works.! Want I just went through really doesnt compare at all..... Thank you God for putting it all in perspective.
