Stacie P.
Well, my story goes like this...
At 16 y.o. I was diaganosed with cancer in my sinus, Rhabdomayosarcoma of the right sinus. Just months after my birthday, doctors had given me 6 months to live with a slim chance of survival since the tumor, which was the size of a grapefruit, was traveling back to my brain on my optic nerve. They did say that if I was to survive I would never have children, and need total reconstructive surgery of the riht side of my face, among other things.
Needless to say they were all quite wrong, and I believe in miracles. The worst that has come from it all is the Late Effects, which include hormonal issuses that cause weight gain and other issues. I came out of the cancer weighing about 145 lbs. Now that with a poor self image equals continued weight gain and failure at dieting. As I have gotten older and the hormonal issues has become a bit more difficult, so has the weight management.
All of this brings me today...
