Just one more appointment before surgery

I went to the doctor on Friday. I had to do an EKG, Chest Xray and blood work. Lots of it, but I must say it was the easiest blood work I have done in long time.My last appointment is October 23rd. Then surgery date in December. I may see if I can go in earlier, but we shall see.....I am scared, happy and nervous at the same time. Anyone else experience this? Such a huge decision, but one I hope can change my life.
