I had the first appointment at Park Nicollet on the 29th!  I was EXHAUSTED!!!  That day dragged on and on.  I thought they would NEVER let me have my Mt Dew and by lunchtime my caffiene withdrawl headache was nearing migraine status.  I was happy to see that increasing the amount of water I've been drinking brought me down 2lbs though!  I came home afterwards and slept the rest of the afternoon.

I have another appointment set on the 19th to round out the initial stuff before I start with the dietician.  I bought small dishes, spoons, and sippy cups today to begin changing the way I eat in prep for the surgery. 

I got a call from Park Nicollet and scheduled my first round of appointments for December 29th.  I am totally excited and if I didn't need to meet insurance requirements of 6 months worth of visits with the dietician...I would schedule for tomorrow! 

My kids are a bit scared but my family is behind me and I'm glad because without that support, I would be skinny again but LONELY!  I can't believe in the last 10 years I have gained just over 100lbs.  I am ready to be back to the way I was before! 

I will try to remember to post updates here when things happen like appointments and such so anyone who reads this can track my progress through the summer.  I am looking at having RNY around the time school starts up in the fall so my kids can be busy with school rather than sitting home worrying about me all day.   

I sent in the packet of forms I had to fill out.  I am hoping to hear from Park Nicollet by the end of next week to schedule the first of my consults!  Move over losers...Im on my way!

I went to the info seminar at Park Nicollet on Dec 1st.  I am working on filling out the packet and then will be required to do 6 months with a dietician before surgery can be approved.
