Hello all, Well one step closer to the operation. I have gotten all my medical clearances out of the way and the pre-op testing is complete. Tomorrow morning I have to be at the hospital to get the Upper Endoscopy done and I am on my way.

After this, I get to see Dr. Washington for the pre-op meeting on May 9th. I am also taking advantage and having my eyes tested this week since I am having problems with my glasses.

I am also starting the pre-liquid protein shakes slowly. I don't eat breakfast but have my 8oz shake in the morning. I am also weening off the coffee. I am doing ok. Unjury is really good and so is the whey protein from GNC.  I am saving up to get more from Unjury.

 It is true - I am finally approved. Jessica, Dr. Washington's physician assistant called me and gave me the great news. I am finally approved. The Lap Band operation has been scheduled as of June 9th at 11:30am. I am so psyched. I have 3 other appointments to make but I am so happy and look forward to this.

Now - I need to find all the lapband documentation I stored away to bring my memory up to par!! 

If anyone has any suggestions or recommendations, please give them to me!!! It would be greatly appreciated.

Well, I met with the PA for Dr. Morris Washington and I am on my way. I have to get thru 6 classes over 3 months.  I have made my pulmonary test for March 1st and on March 8th, I will meet with the pulmanary doctor. I have also made an appointment for March 19th with the cardiologist.  I have left a message for the psychiatrist and I will meet with my PCP on 02/28.

I am so psyched. It feels like I am going to be a new person soon. I do have a few "friends" who are seem to be not supportive but I hav e determined that maybe this one person has never had any well wishes for me. When the PA weighed me, I weighed 285lbs. I am shocked that have gotten so big and unhealthy. I am tired and I want to feel better. 

This person is someone I love very much and I always thought this person cared for me as well but I have figured it out that this person really doesn't care for anyone but himself. 

Well, anyway - I hope you are all doing well. I am hoping the surgery will be in May of this year!!
