"They were slow to respond, cranky and unfriendly, and when I tried to ask them for things they acted put out and took forever (lot of paging to remind them) to do whatever it was.."

Bryan Freeman

"I was able to meet Dr. Freeman when I came in for the initial meeting where we get information. He's extremely personable and made me feel very comfortable and welcome. He is the 2nd doctor I visited, the first was IN MY CITY.. and he made me want to find another doctor. Dr. Freeman is a 3 hour drive away, and I'm still 110% glad I decided to have him as my surgeon! rnrnHis staff is wonderful, everyone is so friendly and helpful. His office as a whole is not stuffy and hospital feeling.. it's very relaxed and peaceful. rnI had the lap-band done on April 16, 2007 and so far so good! I'm losing weight, and I've had no complications to speak of. Whenever I call because I need information, the nurse always calls me back on the same day (that is rare to me in my history of doctors!). rnHis bedside manner is the best I've ever met, and if anyone was wanting RNY or Lap-Band, I would recommend them to Dr. Freeman. I look forward to my relationship with him as now my Fill doctor! rnrnMy negatives..rnAfter surgery I was in a lot of pain, I didn't have a drip for pain relief, I always had to wait on a nurse to come in-and the nurses at the hospital were not very pleasant (they are not the same ones in his office). The nurses were impatient and short with me, and since I was in pain and just out of surgery (and the amount of money I had to self-pay to the hospital) I would have liked to have been treated a bit nicer. My local hospitals treat people a lot better, so I wished I could have had Dr. Freeman at the hospital of my choice! That only lasted 24 hours, so it was bearable, but at the time I wished it had been different. "
