Still on the right road

I'm still on the right road. I had my surgery on April 17, 2008 and I've lost 112.5 pounds. That being said, I lose weight fast but I gain weight fast. This time I have been giving away clothes. Consignment stores are great for finding clothes in every size. I'm now in a 18/20 blouse, 20 pant and 22 jean. Guess my body odd. Maybe if and when I have plastics I'll be in the same size all over.
Everything's Looking Up

Everything seems to be looking up. After my surgery, I didn't go back to work as soon as the doctor said that I could. Instead of taking 3 days off, I took 7. I needed the time (actually could have used more) because no one should go back to work on liquids. I was so hungry and weak. Glad I'm on solids now.
We took our cruise and I didn't eat well on it but had made up my mind that it was my vacation and I was going to enjoy it. I did get off everything I gained plus 10 pounds before I went to the doctor though. I sometimes think that you need to jog your weight loss to keep losing.
I have sure been drinking my fill of water. The only other thing I have is coffee and that's a cup in the morning. And I've finally stopped drinking while I eat. I joined a gym and start tomorrow night. Now I've got to start counting my calories because my doctor said that I need to be around 1000.

Everything finally worked out for my pre-op. I got in last Thursday and all the test have been done and also the seminar. Surgery is now 5 days away. My friends are trying to fatten me up more before the surgery because everyone is wanting to take me out. I've never ate as much. Guess I better watch out.

I got a call and my surgery date has been scheduled for April 17. I am so excited. But something has happened that has worried me that the surgery will have to be postponed. I got my letter for my pre-op testing on Friday, April 4 after I got off of work. When I opened the letter, it said that my pre-op test were scheduled for Thursday, April 3 which was the day before. I'm so worried now that I missed the testing, and if they can't work me in this Thursday, I'll have to be rescheduled.

I had my surgery scheduled for 6/19/08 and thought everything was a go until I met with my doctor week before last. He was not happy with the date because it was so far off. He asked me why I had scheduled it so far off and I told him that since I was supervisor at work and had one off with surgery and one just starting that I didn't feel like I could miss. He assured me I wouldn't be out long............so today my surgery was moved to April 17 and I'm starting to get a little nervous. I'm very surprised at this because I didn't think I would be nervous at all. And yet, I can't wait to be healthy.
