Today the Lab work
Oct 02, 2007
Well today i went for my lab work and it went very well the crap i had to drink was terrible but i made it. The staff at Johns Creek emory hospital were great. They have a whole wing dedicated to just bariatrics. I was suprised though that when a nurse saw what test i was there for she stated oh! girl I hope you are not having that gastric bypass thing. I was a little freaked out that she was in that field and said that to me. But i did not let her frighten me. I stayed positive and came into contact with alot of other employees who said i was in the right place. My main concern though is that my insurance (aetna) says that because i met my deductible for the year that i will be covered at 100% but i have 4 more times i need to meet with the dietician before they approve and that will put me into January. I am afraid i wont be able to have the surgery this year while it is covered 100%. Anyway will keep posted on the progress....
