I can hardly believe that it's already been 2 years..I'm maintaining pretty good between 142-147, I very happy with that.  I go back to the dr's friday, excited to see how he thinks I'm doing.  I've been having a few incidences with my sugar dropping....going to talk about that with him.  My cousin's came over to me last night and gave me a big hug, and told me that she's so proud of me...that meant the world to me.  I've been very slack on my excersising lately, spring will be here soon, and I'm on vacation for 9 days...going to start it out right..and get using my eliptical again.  I still check my weight probably 3 times a week...keeping tabs on it..I definitely don't want the weight to start slipping back on.  Today is Valentine's Day...spending it with my wonderful husband of 22 years and our family. 

It's hard to believe that 1 1/2 years have gone by since I had surgery.  I'm down 132#,  and down from a size 24 to size 6..I'm so thankful that I was given this opportunity to be able to have this surgery and help myself get healthier...I'm able to do so much more..and feel so much happier.  I've just been hired as a full time teaching assistant...and I"ve actually been helping my brother and family build a house this summer...it's so great to feel useful...

It's hard to believe that it's been a year already.  What a difference.I've gone from a size 24 jeans to size 6.  I've lost 129#s.  I'm working full time. I have alot of people asking me if I'd reccommend this surgery, and I tell them yes, definitely, and I'd would do it all over again.  I love my new life.  I'm trying now just to maintain around 145-150#, that's my goal..and I'm at 147#s right now.  I still drink my protein shake every morning..and take my vitamins and have a B-12 shot every month.  My bloodwork came  back good..so hopefully in august everything will be fine too.

I can hardly believe it's already been 9months...just a quick update this time...I'm at 151#s...3#s below my goal...bloodwork came back good...I'm feeling great...wearing a size 8...I would have never imagined.  Hopefully next month I"ll have more time to update.  thank god...and my surgeon and drs for this wonderful "tool" they gave me...

well, a couple days shy of it..but I figured while I was thinking of it I'd update.  what a ride!! I can't believe where I'm at right now..If I don't lose another pound, I'll be happy where I'm at.  I went to my 6 month check-up this week, my blood work came back good...low side of normal for my iron, so I'm eating more foods with iron in it...love liver.   I've lost 102#'s so far, I'm at 172, and very pleased with what I've accomplished so far.  I'm getting alot of compliments, which I'm not used to, the skin issue isn't bad at all...which I'm very happy about.  I've been slack with exercising the past couple weeks...and I'm going to get back at that...I'm walking, actually jogging some, riding my bike, using the paddleboat, using the elliptical, and ab lounge...I'm trying to do a variety of things so I don't get bored with 1 thing. I'm into a size 12...amazing...when the kids get back into school, I'm going to look for a  full time job, I feel so much better about myself. 

what a ride this has been..already have lost 82#'s...down to a size 14..unbelieveable..I'm feeling so much better..once in awhile I still have problems with eating..think it's because I forget, and try to eat too fast..not chew enough...I'm able to walk on the elliptical for 30 mins..takes me 1 hour to walk 3 miles..never thought I'd ever be able to walk that far.  My ab lounge machine seems to be helping with my flabby stomach..thank god.  My husband has been such a ROCK for me....I'm so lucky to have him by my side...next week is our 21st wedding anniversary...I'm so glad I went through and had this surgery...my lifestyle is so much better now.

boy, time flies when you're having fun!!  I can't believe it's already been 3 months.  I went to Dr. Hill's today, and I've lost 10# in 4 weeks, a total of 66# in 3 months.  I can't believe how much my life has changed already.  I feel so much better, I'm able to actually accomplish something every day...before I would sleep most my time away.  Now I'm walking 3 miles a day (usually 5 days a week).  I'm able to eat so many different kinds of food, I had a rough start...but now I'm feeling so much better.  Camping season has already started, and our family is ready for that..now if the weather would warm up a bit...I don't have to go back to the drs til Aug..that seems so good.  He's very pleased with my success so far.

well, it's hard to believe it's already been a little over 5 weeks since surgery.  I've had a few setbacks, but none too bad.  I can't believe I can walk a 1/2 a mile without stopping and taking a break and being out of breath.  It's been over 6 months since I've had a cig, and I've lost 46# so far.  I've starting walking on the elliptical and can do 1/2 a mile in 14 minutes, before I was lucky to be able to use the elliptical for 7 minutes.  I'm already doing some research on some hiking trails that my husband and I and our 3 teenage boys can go on as soon as the ground dries up some.  This surgery has given me back my life, little by little I'm able to live again.

well, tomorrow's my birthday and I just can't believe this will be the last year that I'll be morbidly obese.   What a great present I'm giving myself. February 13th is coming quick...before I know it I'll be on the "losing side"...just unbelievable...I never thought I would get here.

A little over a month, and I'll be a LOSER.  It just won't feel real til I actually get it done.  I'm hoping to have a big loss before my daughter and son-in-law come back home in May.  My plan is as soon as I'm feeling up to it, my husband and I, and our 3 boys are going to start hiking.  I need to teach them how to eat healthy so they don't end up in the same shoes I'm in now.
