Am down to 350!!! Feeling better, but I need to add more movement into my day!! Still having problems with my brothers cancer. Waiting on the test results to see if I can be his stem cell donor. The waiting is driving me crazy!! School is just going, I will have to go to classes during the summer, to make up my credits.  Other than that, am alive and well.

Well, as of last Friday, I had lost 6 pounds for the week. Am down to 393. This month is very busy!!! I start back to school, take my little brother to Tulsa for his treatments for cancer, and Miss Oklahoma Plus America is in full force!!  The miss oklahoma plus pageant and the miss plus america pageants are GREAT pageant's for anyone who are a size 14 and larger. Am having to go to school on mondays, wednesday, and friday's. Needless to say, am a busy person.
My brothers stem cells aren't wanting to go up in their count, so the drs. are trying something different to see if they will go up.  So far, now of his treatments haven't made him sick. 

Went to see Dr Gibbs on the 20th and received a shock!!  I have lost 30pounds since surgery!!!!!!!!!  Everything is going ok. I have tryed some meats and things. So far so good. Gibbs said am doing good.  I go and see him in 6months. 

It has been 2weeks since surgery. Everything is going well, am walking around more. It is still hard to sleep in bed, so I have been sleeping in a recliner.  Am still pretty sore.  I done know if it is because I had my gall bladder taken out , a hernia repaired, and the RNY .  It hurts to bend, so I haven't done much bending right now.  Sitting straight up in a chair hurts after a while, but i will live through it.  I know i have lost some weight, but just don't know how much right now. I go see Dr. Gibbs on  the 20th and then I will find out. I told my husband it don't want a scale right now, or I would be on it all the time.  I will weight once a month at the dr. office here in the town that i live.  I live  4hours from Dr. Gibbs.  Well, thats all for right now .

In about 4hours me and my husband will be leaving for Little Rock. I really can't sleep. I'm trying to make sure things are done before we leave. Leaving notes for my brother who will be watching our son, and notes for my mother in law, who is watching our daughter.  My brother can't handle a 2year old.  Today I was putting up flyers for the Miss Plus America Pageant and the  Miss Plus Oklahoma pageant, around town. I have been trying to keep busy and not think about surgery.

Am starting to get nervous about the 2nd!! I hope everything goes o.k. I trust Dr. Gibbs, that's not the problem, I think the problem is the unknown. I just hope surgery goes well.  Am freaking out because when people come over I go with them in my smoking room and talk to them. I didn't think about 2hand smoke. I was starting to wonder if that would hurt me having surgery. When you have at least 3 people in one room smoking, I know there has to be some smoke going into my lungs. I really hope it doesn't hurt me having surgery. I will post more later.

I have a surgery date!!! Nov. 2 am so ready for this!!  A new start for me!!  To beable to do things I haven't done in a long time. I have to go one day earlier for test, but am ready!! this is the happiest day!!!

Am so impatient. Am still waiting on the insurance and the dr's.  My insurance said "As soon as we get the paper, you will be approved". This is driving me crazy. I wanted surgery before school started in January.  I know, I need to learn to be patient. But, this is very hard for me. I quit smoking, but I want a cig, so bad!!!! Even though it has been over a month. I'm surrounded my people who smoke and when they smoke, it makes me want one. But, I haven't !!!!!

Am waiting for a call or a letter letting me know about surgery.  Am so ready for this new life, a new me.  Being able to move, to play with my kids, go shopping, do outside things with my husband.  Am ready for this.  Having a longer and healthier life. I just need to wait alittle bit longer,

On the 28th of Sept. I went to Dr. Gibbs wls meeting. I really liked him and his staff. I have planned on the open RNY. My insurance will only pay $5,000. So, my husband and I will go through a fin. company.  One good thing with my insurance, is that all I need to a letter stating that I need wls.
