Well, it has been  quite a wild ride the last 12 days.  The day of surgery went really well.  They preached walking, walking , walking...i was sooo sleepy...  On Friday, around 2pm i was released from the Hospital.  I have to say i was a bit worried right afterwards..would I ever feel normal again?? The answer is yes..I am still a bit sore but stopped taking pain medication...just a tylelonal here and there.

I was able to try really watery oatmeal, and pudding...it is amazing how full you feel just after a few bites..

Hello, my name is Beth.  I am 35 years old.  My surgery date is 8/18/2010.  I am getting excited and nervous.  It is quite sureal.  I am just worried about leaving my children age 11 and 7.  I have never been away from them so long.  I am a bit nervous about after surgery and any pain i may experience.  I am not worried about liquid  meals or puree meals..i have done so many crazy weightloss programs in the past that drinking liquids is not going to be a big deal to me.  I am hoping by joinging this site i will make life long friends in my weighloss journey...thanks for listening..beth
