Time Has Flown!

Here we are in a brand new year. Time flies when you've got a lot going on it seemsI didn't finish my Medical Assisting degree in November as I'd hoped, but I AM finishing it on the 24th of this month! I've done my internships at two places too. The first being Central Maine Bariatrics the other Concentra both in Lewiston. Now I will have to get on the ball and find a job.
My daughter has moved to Virginia with her boyfriend and his family. My 21 year old son has married his middle school sweetheart and they'll soon be living in Farmington, Maine. He is still in the Army Reserves and has risen up in rank several times. He is now a Sargent First Class. My youngest son, having turned 18 in August, has decided to also enlist in the Army. He should be "sworn in" sometime new week. I'm going to be suffering from the "empty nest syndrome" real soon. I'm happy for ALL my kids, but I'm heart broken too. I guess that comes with the "mother" territory.
I'm doing well weight and health wise. I still say I am thrilled to have had the surgery as I can do so much more and enjoy life much more because of it!
