I am 2 weeks away from having my gastric bypass with Dr. Wade Barker. My surgery date is May 5th. Woo hoo. My experience with Dr Barker has been great. He is wonderful and his staff is the best. I had my stomach scope, psy evaluation all I need to do is my heart clearance. I just started my 2 weeks of preop liquid diet. Its a struggle but I know that i can do it.I'm a little nervous about the surgery but I know that it is the best step for me. I know that it is a tool for me to use to loose weight and it is not a magical fix.
