Hello! Thank you for taking the time to read my story. To tell you the truth, I haven't always been obese. The point in my life when I felt the best was back in 1998, when I broke up with my boyfriend, graduated high school, started a new job, and the stress of all of that, I got down to 135 pounds, which some said was too small for my 5'7 frame. I went steadily up from that point. The day I got married (2000) I weighed 175 pounds. I have had 2 children. I gained weight with both of them and had climbed all the way up to 259 when I decided to have WLS. I have lost about 20 pounds before surgery and my goal is 150 (well, my secret goal which seems unattainable is 135 actually) and I can't wait until I am there!!!
I have a wonderful husband and two children. I am ready to start enjoying life again. It isn't so much fun when you are restricted in all aspects of life, from carrying so much extra weight. Keep an eye out...I may just disappear!
