I guess my story is like many of us -- I've always fought weight gain, even as a child.  With age came the endless battle of losing weight and then regaining it back with additional pounds.

Food has always been a major importance to me - I worked in restaurants all my life, went back to school & graduated with a culinary degree and then opened my own restaurant. Talk about being in "hog heaven" huh?  Finally I changed careers in my 40's - I couldn't keep up with the hours & fast pace; or so I wanted others to believe.  The hard truth is that my weight wouldn't allow me to continue.

I'm 50 now and am wanting a healthy life for myself and my family.  And I'm simply tired of not having any energy.  I'm ready.
