Here is my story.  I have not always been this big I was a fairly thin child and even though I was a bit pudgy during my early teen years I lost down and stayed around 105 for most of my later teens and 20's, 30's even having a child at 19 I lost all of my weight.  It wasn't until my late 30's and early 40's I started to gain weight and in addition developed high blood pressure, gerd, sleep apena, and diabetes.  I have tried all types of diets and have lost and gained so much weight till I will not diet now for fear I will put on more weight than my frame can handle.  My knees or my legs are already changing directions because of the fat and the weight so I am hoping that RNY is the answer for me so the next so called diet or change in eating habits I will be able to loose and keep it off.  In addition to feeling better and looking better I am told by my surgeon that I will be able to get off all of meds and hopefully the C-Pap for sleep apena and I will be able to extend my like, not only the quantity but the quality.  I have 3 grandchildren that I want to see grow up and have children so that thought is truly awesome.  I also have a lot of learning to do and changes to make to become the stronger Christian I want to be.
