6 months and 100 pounds later

Jul 30, 2009

my birthday was also my six month surgiversary. i hit the -100 lb mark that day as well, i had hoped to be down 110 but 100 pounds in six months is still pretty good. im 25 years old now, still a mommy and still broke as all shit. but i will live, i have been looking for a job, luckily the economy is poop so i can't even get a job at the dollar store. the kid is potty trained, mostly because we couldn't afford diapers anymore but i will take it. i want to put my son in preschool but with no health insurance and the simple fact that it costs 12 bucks a shot to get his shots at the clinic not to mention that he'd need a psyical before they'd let him in means no preschool for my kid. whatever i can teach him most of everything he'd learn in preschool anyway. my parents house is being torn down and built a new thanks to code issues and the insurance thinking its cheaper to do that. my husband has graduated from college nd now has a 15,000 dollar degree in something he can't get a job in. one day we can even frame that paper but not currently. hopefully the hubs can get a job somewhere that isnot so expensive to live, and we can figure our crap out. on the upside it is a poor kid economy the dollar store and aldi see us a lot and i have been getting clothes from clearence racks for the same price i can get em used at good will so i figure might as well get it new right. i want to have another kid, as terribly white trash as it sounds, if we have another kid we can get food stamps that we currently make 10 bucks too much for, eh now im just being whiney..

i can shop in jrs departments now, the sizes are weird though at least in plus you could be a 24 one store and a 24 at another..
