, Hello, My name is Lillian and I was hoping to have surgery.... at least I was 2 years ago... Things have changed for the moment. I have alot of things going on in my life right now and surgery has become not so important anymore. I got married this year January 31, 2008. I have a new stepson who is absolutely great!! I can say that i have been over weight since junior high school but the truth is that I have been uncomfortable with my weight since my mid twenties. It has gotten worse over the years and so has my health problems. When I say health problems, my only concerns now are severe back pain. i have been fortunate to not have high blood pressure, diabetes...yet ( i think I am borderline in that department) most of my family has it.. and if I don't take care of myself I will be next. I can get around like anyone else as long as I am not in pain. I suffer from severe degenerative spine disease since i was 16 years old and it has just gotten worse over time. Doctors say... "all that pain will go away if you just lose some weight." What do they know...... That pain started over 130 lbs ago... I thought that having surgery would change my life like it has for so many of you.. I have come to terms that what has to change is me... Unfortunately insurance companies are not my friend.. Not only have I been denied surgery, I do not have enough doctor visits to take care of other problems. I think now I need to concentrate on getting back pain resolved just so I can do more daily life activities. I am a gemini and love to stay busy all the time but now I have to settle for less activity. Please pray for me as I have for many of you... Even though I cannot proceed with my weight loss journey right now. I hope I will be back on it soon. Lots of love to all of you,
