first appt.

went to my first appt. at LGH and I've been given the okay for gastric bypass surgery.  Now I have tons of appts from this comming wednesday to 6/1 so surgery i'm told would be late june early july.  in the meantime i have to go to ever appt & lose 10 lbs. 
here's the weird thing.....now that its seriously happening i'm kind of getting scared! Is this normal? I'm worried about the surgery itself, if i'll be able to leave my fav foods for good (diet caffiene free coke & popsicles), if i'll be able to stomache foods like tofu after the surgery (tried it once in the 90's  and thought i was going to gag!) well, i guess the nutritionist will have some answers for me next week!?!?
