Jumping in with Both Feet

About 7 years ago I entertained this thought but my PCP thought it was too risky. Now I am older and weigh much more too. So, I am ready for a change in my life, nevermind the necessity of it. I have been to the informational meeting, have contacted my insurance and I have my first official appointment with my current PCP (who suggested it a month ago).

I have the paperwork sitting on the couch for me to fill out. Everytime I start filling it out or even thinking about the topic, my eyes fill with tears. I am having to be honest about the physical challenges that I have because of my weight and put it into words...most words I have never written or said outloud. I don't know if its that I don't want to complain or I don't want others to realize the true situation.

My goal of today is to begin filling out that paperwork and have it done in the next couple of days. My doctors appointment is in two weeks (ish) and if I can get in earlier, that would be great.
